Q: What would you classify your style as? 

A: Marlon's style would fall under the "photojournalistic" style. Candid, spontaneous, un-rehearsed...and lots of FUN! 

 

Q: What format do you shoot in...what equipment do you use? 

A: Marlon shoots 100% in digital format using only Nikon Z Series Full Frame Mirrorless Camera System paired with the best Nikon-Nikkor Lenses.

 

Q: Where are you based out of...will you travel? 

A: Marlon is based out of San Diego, California and cover most of the surrounding San Diego counties. His pricing includes locations within a 15 mile radius of 92121. He will certainly travel outside of the area, based on agreed arrangements and for an additional fee. 

 

Q: How many photographers will be working on my shoot? 

A:All portrait sessions are shot by one photographer.   If more are needed, Marlon does have the option to add additional photographers a la carte. 

 

Q: How many images can I expect from a session/event coverage/wedding...are there limits? 

A: Sessions will usually receive about 40-50 processed images. As for events and weddings, it really depends on the amount of activity taking place during your event. Also, there are no limits on shots taken at all, Marlon will deliver as many shots that he feels necessary capture your moment. 

Q: What about digital negatives (full, high-resolution original files)? 
A: After the photos are processed, the digital negatives are yours to keep. They are provided to you on Thumb Drive.

Q: Do you edit/fix-up/touch-up/Photoshop the pictures for me? 
A: After each session, Marlon post-process each picture for color-correction and to basically get it to his standards. Marlon will also include creative editing which includes black & white and more. However, Marlon does not do any major skin/blemish fixes, or Photoshop magic.  You ask why?  Marlon would rather keep his pricing affordable. 

Q: What is the turn-around time from the shoot to receiving my pictures? 
A: Marlon knows waiting is torture, so Marlon will try to be as fast as possible in processing your pictures. At this time you can expect approximately a 3 week turnaround time for photo sessions and a 2-month turnaround for wedding photography.
